It's said that nothing is for certain except death and taxes. Both cause people to cry. Both show the end of one time and the sad beginning of another. Both cause great emotional stress.
The former has become a part of my family today. Goodbye Uncle John, you will be missed greatly. I love you and I am sorry I did not get to see you for a long time. I'll think of you next time I have some strawberry shortcake or drive to beach, next time I buy something I "want but don't necessarily need". I will think of you on Friday and wish I could be at the funeral to say goodbye and goodnight one final time. Love you Unnca John.
