Delayed Promage

I know I still owe you all a France trip post and lots of pictures. Trust me, it'll come...eventually. It may not be soon and it may not be far away, but it WILL come. The purpose of this post however is not to tell you about other posts. This post is to tell you about Prom.

Prom is an interesting occurrence. Every high school has one. It is a right of passage. You know you are crossing that final threshold between childhood and adulthood when you go to prom. Little children look forward to this event their entire life. It is destined to be a good event (that or it'll go horribly wrong, there is no neutral prom).

Yeah, so last Saturday (April 28th) I went to my high school's Prom at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. Beforehand I got ready at my friend, Krysten's, house along with my other friend Peter. Peter is gay, and awesome. end of story.Anyways, then we went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen where everyone else met us . We took pictures and had lots of people staring at us as they walked by. What? You'd think that a big group of people in formal wear with a gay man in drag was weird or something...yeah. I also met up with my date for the evening who was my good friend Logan. After more revelry they were finally ready to seat us. Dinner was good. Food generally is good though when you haven't eaten in a while. After dinner we met up with the other members of our limo group and found our limo. Limos are very fun. They have twinkle-y lights and lots of buttons which aren't properly labeled so you have to try them all out just to turn something on. :) We were also basically sitting on top of each other since we had 2 too many people for the seating arrangement. Fun stuff. (I'm not in the bottom picture, that's the dance floor) Okay and to make a long story short we arrived at the dance, tore up the dance floor with our sweet awesome moves, got professional pictures and I was asked to be Logan's girlfriend. Yay!!! :D *cue happy feelings* There was a limo drive home...very LONG limo drive home, lots of sleepy people, and pain in my feet. And THAT my dearlings was Prom. And the moral of the story: Proms cause couples, fun and fatigue. Enjoy at your own risk.
