This Saturday will mark the greatest Wizard Rockfest California has ever seen! But what is Wizard Rock, you ask? It is an entire genre of music and artists that sing songs about the Harry Potter books. All the bands have such different styles and such a passion for fun and awesomeness. It should be AMAZING!
Anyways, the event is at the Haskett Branch Library in Anaheim and is located at 2650 W. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92804. It is an all day event from 12:00-6:00pm and is in support of the organization called PSArts. A $7 donation is recommended to help aid them, but is not required.
There are also a grand total of thirteen bands performing, including:
The Remus Lupins,
The Parselmouths,
The Hermione Crookshanks Experience,
The Hinky Punks,
Catchlove,
Firenze and the Centaurs of the Forbidden Forest,
The Bandon Banshees,
Sue and the Hufflepuffs,
A Couple of Harrys,
Potter and the Lightningbolts,
Dumbledore's Army,
The Gollum Haters (which is actually a Lord of the Rings band...)
and The. Logan. Zon. Acoustic.
Oh, and why am I shamelessly promoting this? Did I fail to mention that I am all the Technical support for this show as well as your esteemed host? Well, I am. Yay!
