Bands are fun.

So, I had my first experience today what it is like to be in a band and it is totally awesome. I am singing partly lead vocals for a six song EP CD that will be sold later this year and all proceeds will go to help the Red Cross. Cuz we're cool and charitable like that. Yo. Yeah so anyways the band is comprised of myself (vocals) my dear friend Logan (guitar/bass/vocals) and his friend Elliot (piano/drums). Yep we rock beyond belief. Today we practiced a couple of songs: one is a cover for the song "Ice Cold Man" except our version is SO much cooler (please excuse the pun), and the other is a song Logan wrote based on a poem my friend Brianne wrote. Its really pop-ish but still good. And we all sound really spifftacular together with the guitar and the piano and the vocals and AH! Amazing! It makes me happy. Its one of those things that I've always wanted to do and never was able to before now. :D
