Rockin the blue

Blue Man Group is Rockin' AWESOME!!!!!

So, Yesterday my department at school decided to take a fantastic field trip to Universal City Walk in L.A. to see the Blue Man Group's technical rehearsal since...well, that is what I do for a living, ya know: lights, sound, costumes, set design...yeah good stuff. Anyways!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, so we walk in and we are the only people in the whole theater and get to sit in the front row as they practice.

Ah the lights, ah the music, AH THE SPIFFTASTICALNESS!!!!!

Oh it was so cool to sit there and watch them just feet away drumming and just being awesome and funny and ...there are no words.

So afterwards we leave the theater and get to have a Q&A session with the 3 blue men, the director, lighting designer, producer, female vocalist, drummer, and one other guy...I forgot who he was. I couldn't see him. Anyways that was fun. AND we got free stuff and a free DVD. Sweet. Oh, and I got a picture with one of the blue men without his makeup on. I have to wait for it to be sent to me by a friend of mine though. I'll post it when I get it. :)
