Heroes!!

So, T.V. may not be one of my top priorities but there is one show that I never fail to watch every Monday at 9 called "Heroes". T.V. today is generally stereotypical with the same plot over and over and over: Boy falls in love with girl, girl falls in love with boy, some drama arises which forces the two apart but they eventually overcome obstacles to get back together. Hmm, sounds like a lot of movies too. But Heroes is something totally different. I may be a bit biased base upon my extensive background as a comic book fan and love of science fiction, fantasy and general awesomeness...but Heroes still manages to have some level where it can connect to anyone watching it.

So basically it tells the story of a group of people from across the globe who discover that they each have superhuman abilities (like flying, regeneration, telepathy, telekinesis, bending space and time, etc.) and their struggle to find out who they really are and prevent the world from being destroyed. Yeah, that was a really BAD summary, but you get the general idea. Its really a lot cooler than I made it out to be...The characters are really awesome and well developed as well. I personally relate to Hiro, the Japanese star trek fan with the idea that he needs to fulfill his destiny to become a hero. He's amazing. The other characters are cool too and each has some connection to everyone else in the story (whether revealed yet or not...) which makes it interesting for the audience to try and figure out how the bigger picture fits together.

It makes me want to draw superheroes and design myself as one and make some sweet awesome team and pretty much geek out for a week until the next episode comes out. :)

So what I'm pretty much trying to say is that the show is the best one on T.V. right now, you should watch it and revel in the joy that is Heroes!
