When you think about SEUSS!

Seuss!
I have been posting a rediculous amount of blog posts about this nice little play. One more can't hurt though can it? Or does it make you feel something like this?:
Either way, I'm going to post this so deal with it. Hahaha.
Yeah. I am eating, drinking, sleeping and breathing Seussical right now. It is all that is keeping me from losing my mind. Or maybe I already had...how would I know in a play that's gone mad?! Anyway the places I've went and the places I'll be always sort of fill me with glee. I have been running the lights, putting down fights, and trying to find time to think some normal thinks instead. Aaaaah!!! This is a crazy show. Crazy good, but crazy all the same. There are 360 light cues (not including spot lights). 360!!!!! That's almost enough for one for each day of the year! yah. I still love my cast and crew though. They are the best people ever. for sure. They beat all other peoples anyday. Take THAT other Music&Theatre shows! (*coughJeffPaulcough*) Oh! And we started Tech week (aka Hell Week) yesterday. 'Twas crazy hell-ish I must say. I was unnaturally calm today though as I did all the light cues for Act II which I've never seen before. Wierd. The Production and Design aspect of the show is really good though (and extremely colorful). I have some good pictures here for you to admire:
This is our cat in the Hat, Matt. He is very cool and awesome and stuff. Yay for Matt! And these are the Bird Girls. Their Costumes leave feathers all over the stage I have to clean up. Nina plays Gertrude and is the nicest person you will ever meet. (and is really really short, but still awesome) :) I love this boy. Ryan is our Horton the Elephant and is really sweet. He also has a very good voice.
I can't believe that these wonderful people are only sophmores and freshmen. Crazy. I leave you now with an insightful quote, "I feel like I need to go home and brush my teeth from all the sugary goodness in this play." -Joey.
